The highlights:
- The Met
- Shake Shack
- Ryan pushing the stroller.
- When it stopped raining.
- Hearing how much they loved Wicked.
- L'asso - the only American pizzeria certified by the Italian government. So good!
- Creperie NYC (Thanks, Kathryn. We enjoyed it very much.)
- Seeing their reaction when I told them how much we pay in rent.
- Seeing the greatest subway performer EVER! (Video coming soon.)
- Chatting while we walked to Doughnut Plant (which was closed - so sad).
- Book talk, cooking talk, family talk, child raising talk, talk, talk, talk.
- And more talking while we ate my cupcakes.

Man, how come I usually come away from your blog either hungry or wanting to redecorate? I want some "certified" pizza! YUM!
Um, please to be having that pizza? YUM.
Ha, I saw the long skinny pizza and I was like "l'asso!" yay I feel like such a new yorker. Haha. I can't believe how much fun and food you fit into such a short time! How FUN!
That pizza looks incredible!!! It looks so delicious and authentic! Yummmmm...
Looks like you had a great visit with your cousin. I'm also impressed with how much you did in such a short time...you are already so city savvy!
It's always too short when visitors come, don't you think?? Yay for the Romneys!! Wow, that pizza looks so amazing. (And it's certified by the Italian government??! Booyah!!)
Did you all fit into the creperie? SO tiny.
And the donut plant can be tricky. They don't like to be open some days, & when they sell out... they close. Boo.
