I'm on it!!!! I'll start stalking celebrities here in L.A. and asking for their support on the Umbrella Hat initiative. :-)
(And seriously, why haven't any genius inventor types come up with something that stroller-pushing moms can use to stay dry in the rain??)

And three cheers to Maclaren and their awesome rain covers. We just tested ours out last week and I loved it (even if I came home soaked and raccoon-eyed, as well). :)

I think they need to get an umbrella that can attach to your stroller and cover you. It is hard--I've tried. :)

Also, I ended up ordering the boots. In RED! I originally thought I'd be all "New York" and go with black. But now I am gonna be one sassy, stand-out woman with my red rain boots. I don't know if I can pull it off. Maybe we can team up, me with my bright red boots, you with your umbrella hat, and take the world by a storm. We'd rock it.
ya, if you figure that one out, please fill the rest of us in. i usually just throw the hat on, and then the hood over the hat. maybe a hat with a brim? like a fashionable fedora?? you're blessed for your unselfishness. :)
